Guideline Resolution

By adop­ting the gui­de­line reso­lu­ti­on the town coun­cil set the deve­lo­p­ment per­spec­ti­ves and the long-term stra­te­gic frame­work for action for the air base on 24^th March 2015. First and fore­most, the ten gui­de­lines deter­mi­ne the decis­i­ons and actions the muni­ci­pal aut­ho­ri­ties and the admi­nis­tra­ti­on have to take.

Fun­da­men­tals

When con­ver­ting the air base, it has to be ensu­red that the site will be con­nec­ted to and inte­gra­ted into the town area in terms of urban struc­tu­re, infra­struc­tu­re and land­scape struc­tu­re and that this pro­cess can be rea­li­zed step-by-step. Whe­re pos­si­ble, this shall be coor­di­na­ted with exis­ting con­cepts in the town and the neigh­bor­ing muni­ci­pa­li­ties. It must be para­mount to safe­guard the urban deve­lo­p­ment qua­li­ty and bring it into line with eco­no­mic aspects. The muni­ci­pa­li­ty of Fürs­ten­feld­bruck shall govern the deve­lo­p­ment pro­cess as the public plan­ning aut­ho­ri­ty through its decision-making bodies. The deve­lo­p­ment shall also boost the dis­trict and/or the region.
