The air­field and various faci­li­ties direct­ly asso­cia­ted with flight ope­ra­ti­ons are loca­ted in the Mais­ach muni­ci­pa­li­ty, cove­ring an area of about 280 hec­ta­res. In Fürs­ten­feld­bruck, the majo­ri­ty of the buil­dings are loca­ted on an area of about 200 hectares.
